Dover Children’s Home received $162,722.17 from charitable gaming proceeds through The Brook in the month of June!
These funds have made a significant impact on Dover Children’s Home. We have been able to enhance our specialized therapeutic services, provide essential resources, and offer life-changing opportunities that help our residents build the skills they need to overcome challenges and lead successful futures. Your support strengthens our ability to offer trauma-focused care and enriches the lives of those we serve every day by supporting increased services through coordination of individual treatment domains, and opportunities for youth to pursue their interests.
As a trauma-informed residential treatment program for teens and young adults, we are dedicated to providing a safe, healing environment for youth who have experienced significant trauma. Thanks to The Brook’s support, we were able to address a critical need in our facility: replacing flooring throughout our building that had become worn and damaged over time. This vital update has not only improved the safety and comfort of our home, but it also helps create a more welcoming and supportive space for our residents as they work through their healing journeys.
