News & EventsSUCCESSFUL 16th ANNUAL BOWL-A-THON
After many incredible pledges, teams raised a total of $26,589.77!! Though we did not meet our ambitious goal of $50,000, we are so proud to have such incredible people working to support our mission – and the money raised will make a significant impact on our organization.
CONGRATULATIONS to all winning teams throughout our four sessions! You added friendly competition, fun, and enthusiasm to our day.
Best Team Theme Wear – Altrusa of the Seacoast, Holy Rosary Credit Union Crusaders, WIN Home Inspection Bowling with My Gnomies, and the LaRocque Dinos
Highest Scoring Team – Gutter Girls, American Legion Post 47 Sunday Funday, WIN Home Inspection Bowling with My Gnomies, and the LaRocque Dinos
Most Pledges Raised by a Team – The Dover Oddfellows, American Legion Post 47, We STILL Don’t Need No Stinkin’ Name, and Pep’s Pin Busters
A special thank you to The American Legion Post 47 group who collectively raised over $10,000 and won the GRAND PRIZE! We are absolutely blown away by your group, and all the connections you called upon to make this happen.
Thank you to all volunteers, bowlers, pledgers, sponsors Summit Land Development and Townsquare Media, and most of all Bart and his family at Bowl-O-Rama Family Fun Center for another great year.
We can’t wait until next year – we have BIG plans! 😊
Comedy Show to Benefit Dover Children’s Home – on Thursday February 15, the Chameleon Club at Cara Irish Pub was filled by a fun, enthusiastic audience for the Moccia Comedy Productions Comedy Show to Benefit DCH! Mark Moccia introduced a diverse variety of comedians for the show who kept the audience laughing for two hours. It was a great night, with even better company! Thank you so much to Mark, the comedians, and Tom O’Dowd, for making this wonderful event possible! We can’t wait to do another one.
