As a Home full of teens, we are ALWAYS in need of snacks! These can be shipped to us or dropped right at the door!

Did you know that Dover Children’s Home supports youth in building independent living skills, including transportation? Transportation for our youth is a skill, a resource, and a way to connect! Here are ways you can donate or volunteer to support our youth in obtaining their transportation needs:

• COAST Bus Tickets – Tickets can be purchased at $20.00 for 15 rides. These are typically used as an independent living skill or for youth to get to work, shopping, etc.

• Amtrak Train Gift Cards- These are typically to explore independent living skills, as an activity, or as a way to connect with family and friends who live further away.

• Driver’s Education- You can sponsor driver’s education for our youth by donating up to $850 per course. This is a great independent living skill and usually counts for credits at school!

• Uber Gift Cards- Any amount of gift cards can be used to support our youth while on their visits or connecting with us through aftercare!

• Lyft Gift Cards- Any amount of gift cards can be used to support our youth while on their visits or connecting with us through aftercare!

• Gas Cards- Any amount of gas cards can be used to support visits from family members or help with connecting with us through aftercare!

• Volunteer as a driver! – Fill out our volunteer application form and learn more about the opportunity to volunteer as a driver for our youth!
